Welcome to the Minster Gatehouse Museum
Visit Minster Gatehouse Museum, Minster, Isle of Sheppey, Kent and discover over 1000 years of history! When you have finished admiring views of the Island, Essex and the Medway from the highest point on the Island there is plenty to see in the museum itself. This includes displays showing items from everyday lives since Victorian times, artefacts from local archaeological digs, fossils, art, and even a local history section with a cosy seating area for the keen or the weary.We can provide light refreshments during your visit, and our gift shop has something for everybody including an impressive range of local history books and postcards. There is ample free parking directly adjacent to the Gatehouse grounds.
